AI Data & Training Disclosure

Effective November 1, 2026

This disclosure explains in plain language how Plotelle uses your creative submissions and generated content to train and improve its AI systems. We believe in being transparent about this practice because it is central to how the Platform works and improves over time.

1. What data is used for AI training

  • Your text input: story ideas, character descriptions, plot concepts, and any other text you submit as a prompt;
  • The AI-generated output: the graphic novel panels, dialogue, and narrative generated in response to your input;
  • Your edits: changes you make to generated content, which help the AI learn what good output looks like;
  • Feedback signals: ratings, regeneration requests, or explicit feedback you provide.

2. Why we use this data

  • Improve the quality, coherence, and creativity of generated stories and artwork;
  • Better match AI output to the diverse creative intentions of our users;
  • Reduce errors, inconsistencies, and content policy violations in generated output;
  • Develop new features and capabilities for the Platform.

3. How your data is protected in training

  • Data used for training is subject to our Privacy Policy's security standards;
  • We anonymize and aggregate data before sharing with any third-party AI development partners;
  • We do not sell identifiable training datasets to third parties;
  • Access to training data is limited to authorized personnel and systems.

4. Your choices

4.1 Opt-out

You can opt out of having your Submissions and generated content used for AI training at any time by emailing badgeritllc@gmail.com with subject line "AI Training Opt-Out" and including your account email. Opt-outs apply prospectively; data already incorporated into trained AI models cannot be removed, as it is not technically feasible to extract individual data points from a trained model.

4.2 Account deletion

If you delete your account, we will delete your personal account data. Anonymized or aggregated training data derived from your Submissions may be retained as it is no longer linked to your personal identity.

5. Minors' data

  • Submissions from users under 13 are not used for AI training without separate, explicit parental consent;
  • Parents/guardians may request that their child's Submissions be excluded from training by contacting badgeritllc@gmail.com;
  • We apply additional protective measures to data associated with minor user accounts.

6. Changes to this disclosure

If we materially change how we use your data for AI training, we will notify you by email and update this Disclosure with at least 30 days notice before the change takes effect.
